Alpha Delta Pi is proud to be the first secret society exclusively for women. Founded on May 15, 1851, at Wesleyan Female College in Macon, Georgia, our sorority is rich with tradition and sisterhood. Alpha Delta Pi sisters strive for excellence in philanthropy, academic performance, and campus leadership. In keeping with our motto, We Live for Each Other, our members have found a place for support, shared values, and personal development. Opportunities abound for the sisters of Alpha Delta Pi, and we look forward to sharing them with you.
The Delta Pi chapter of Alpha Delta Pi was founded in 1960 at Ripon College in Ripon, Wisconsin. Delta Pi was the 101st chapter to be founded Nationally. The sisters of Delta Pi originally lived in the chapter’s sorority house known as the Tracy House. Currently, the sisters live on the fourth floor of Johnson Hall. Working together as a sisterhood, Delta Pi received The Golden Lion award in the Spring of 2017, this is the highest award an Alpha Delta Pi chapter can receive. At the Ripon College Campus Greek Awards in the spring of 2019, Delta Pi received the most Outstanding Campus Involvement, Outstanding Philanthropy, Outstanding Scholarship Program, Best Alumnae Relations Program, and the Best New Member Program Award. The sisters that call Delta Pi home are so proud to represent such an incredible force of strength and sisterhood.
