From the time of our founding, Alpha Delta Pi has believed in the importance of giving back to our community. A dedication to philanthropy guides our members to spend time in the service of those who need it most. Our international organization’s commitment to Ronald McDonald House Charities has led to the donation of over $15,000,000 over the course of our partnership. More than 350 Ronald McDonald Houses in 64 countries help keep families with seriously ill or injured children together when they need it most by offering them a comfortable, temporary residence in proximity to a medical facility.
Since the beginning of our chapter, the members of Delta Pi have devoted themselves to bettering the welfare of others. Our friendships with the Madison and Milwaukee Ronald McDonald Houses have allowed us to further our founders' visions of kindness and compassion. The Ronald McDonald Houses offer families with seriously ill or injured children a temporary place to stay that is close to their loved one's medical facility. We are able to support this initiative by visiting these houses, preparing breakfast for the families staying in the home, and helping out with any cleaning around the house. As a chapter, we collect pop-tabs and host fundraisers throughout the year to support RMHC. Delta Pi also takes great pride in our chapter's dedication to helping others in our local community and beyond with our members totaling over 700 hours of service this past year.
